Description de l’avers	Brown and cream note with a central text panel bearing the promise to pay inscription in copperplate script and bold letterpress. Description du revers	Printed entirely in red-orange on cream paper, the reverse is composed of elaborate engine-turned guilloche work arranged in a symmetrical pattern around a large central oval. Within the oval, an ornate interlaced monogram of the bank's initials is set against a fine lathe-work background, with the words FOUR and POUNDS arching above and below.
