| Opis awersu | Central field bears the crowned royal cypher of King Christian V of Denmark, formed by two mirrored interlaced C5 monograms beneath a royal crown. The cypher is encircled by a wreath of laurel, the lower knot of which is surmounted by the Glückstadt mint mark. The design is executed in a bold baroque style characteristic of late 17th-century Danish coinage. |

| Opis rewersu | Central device consists of a crowned ornate oval cartouche bearing the quartered arms of Denmark, richly ornamented and resting upon a cross pattée. Suspended from the lower portion of the shield is the collar and badge of the Order of the Elephant, rendered in fine relief. The denomination IIII MARCK DANSKE appears in the field at either side of the shield, with the date terminating the legend along the rim. The overall composition is typical of the elaborate heraldic style employed on Danish silver coinage of the reign of Christian V. |
