Obverse description Central field bears the crowned royal cypher of King Christian V of Denmark, formed by two mirrored interlaced C5 monograms beneath a royal crown. The cypher is encircled by a wreath of laurel, the lower knot of which is surmounted by the Glückstadt mint mark. The design is executed in a bold baroque style characteristic of late 17th-century Danish coinage.
