| Description du revers | Central device features the crowned lion rampant of Norway, passant to the right with tail raised and tongue extended, rendered in bold relief within a wreath of laurel and olive branches tied at the base. A royal crown surmounts the wreath at the top of the field. The denomination '4 MARK' appears in the surrounding peripheral legend alongside the date 1688, with the motto legend completing the circumscription. The composition is characteristic of the heraldic Baroque style employed at the Kongsberg Mint during the reign of Christian V. |
