The figure holds an uprooted pine tree or staff over his right shoulder and stands on a ground line, rendered in a robust baroque style consistent with Hanoverian coinage of the early eighteenth century. The numeral 4 appears to the right of the figure, denoting the denomination. The surrounding circular legend reads: BR. ET. LVN. DVX. S.R.I.A. TH. ET.
