| Description du revers | The reverse displays a full-length standing figure of a wild man (Wilder Mann), the heraldic symbol of the House of Brunswick-Lüneburg, facing the viewer. The figure holds an uprooted pine tree or staff over his right shoulder and stands on a ground line, rendered in a robust baroque style consistent with Hanoverian coinage of the early eighteenth century. The numeral 4 appears to the right of the figure, denoting the denomination. The surrounding circular legend reads: BR. ET. LVN. DVX. S.R.I.A. TH. ET. EL., identifying the ruler as Duke of Brunswick and Lüneburg, Arch Treasurer and Prince Elector of the Holy Roman Empire.
