The shield is surmounted by an angel head wearing a mitre, serving as a decorative cartouche finial. The episcopal arms are rendered in a late Baroque heraldic style typical of late 17th-century German ecclesiastical coinage. The encircling legend in Latin identifies the issuing bishop by name and title. |

| Description du revers | Full-length figure of Saint Willibald, first Bishop of Eichstätt, standing facing, nimbed and mitred, vested in episcopal robes, holding an episcopal crozier in his right hand and a bible in his left. At his feet is an oval shield bearing a crozier, which divides the mintmaster initials. The date 1694 appears within the circumferential legend, and the numeral 4, denoting the denomination in Kreuzer, appears in the lower field beneath the figure, dividing the legend. The composition reflects the standard late Baroque treatment of patron saints on south German ecclesiastical coinage. |
