| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse presents a dynamic scene of three Halubajski Zvončari bell ringers in their distinctive shaggy sheepskin attire and horned masks, depicted in partial silhouette against a stylized jagged background evoking mountain ridges or decorative cut-out forms. Two larger foreground figures are shown face-to-face with bells at their waists, while a smaller figure in the left background raises an arm in a processional gesture. The date '2025' is inscribed vertically along the right inner border. The legend 'HALUBAJSKI' curves along the upper periphery and 'ZVONČARI' is inscribed in straight lettering along the lower field, all within a raised inner border. |

The Halubje bell ringers — known locally as *zvončari* — are a carnival tradition from the Halubje area of the Kastav municipality, near Rijeka, centered on groups of men wearing sheepskin costumes and large cowbells to drive away winter and evil spirits. UNESCO added the broader zvončari practice to its Intangible Cultural Heritage list in 2009. Croatia has made a habit of issuing collector coinage tied to its UNESCO-recognized traditions, and this piece continues that pattern.
The denomination of 4 euros is unconventional by any standard — a deliberate choice that allows Croatia to issue euro-denominated collector pieces without conflicting with ECB regulations governing standard circulation coinage.
