| Obverse description | The central field depicts a group of five Zvončari (bell ringers) from the Halubje village in the Kastav region, shown in full figure advancing toward the viewer in their traditional carnival costumes. Each figure wears a shaggy sheepskin coat and a horned animal-mask headdress, characteristic of the UNESCO-recognized Halubajski Zvončari procession. The central figure bears a tall conical hat adorned with a decorative finial, while the flanking figures brandish sticks or rattles.
