正面描述	Small laureate and draped bust of Fernando VII facing right, the hair tied at the nape with a ribbon bow, truncation showing draped shoulders. The effigy is rendered in a relatively compact, unidealized style characteristic of the early Lima small-bust coinage. The circumferential legend reads FERDIN·VII·D·G·HISP·ET IND·R·, with the date 1812 positioned in the lower exergual area flanked by pellet stops. The whole is enclosed within a toothed or milled border.

背面描述	Crowned and quartered Spanish royal arms at centre, displaying the castles of Castile and lions of León in the principal quarters, with the Granada pomegranate in base, the whole enclosed within the collar of the Order of the Golden Fleece. The value numeral 4 appears to the left of the shield and the assayer initials J·P· to the right, with the Lima mint monogram LIMAE incorporated in the legend. The outer circular legend reads IN·UTROQ·FELIX·AUSPICE·DEO, separated by pellet stops, all within a toothed border consistent with milled production.
