Beschrijving voorzijde Armored bust of King Carlos IV facing right, with curled hair tied at the nape and a lace jabot visible at the throat, rendered in high relief against a smooth field. The effigy is depicted in the neoclassical portrait style characteristic of late Spanish colonial coinage. The circumferential legend reads CAROL • IIII • D • G • HISP • ET IND • R •, identifying the monarch as King of Spain and the Indies by the Grace of God. The mint date appears in the lower portion of the field between two pellets. A finely dentilated border encircles the entire design.
