Reverse description Crowned Spanish royal coat of arms, displaying the quartered shield of Castile and León with the Granada pomegranate at base, encircled by the collar of the Order of the Golden Fleece. A circular Latin legend surrounds the central arms, while the denomination numeral '4' and the mint mark 'NG' with the assayer initial 'P' appear in the lower portion of the field. The crowned shield is rendered in fine relief characteristic of the Nueva Guatemala mint's milled coinage.
