正面描述	The obverse displays the Chilean national coat of arms at center, comprising a vertically divided shield bearing a five-pointed star, supported on the dexter by a rampant horse wearing a crown and on the sinister by a condor with spread wings, also crowned. A palm tree rises above the shield as a crest, and a decorative foliate scroll appears below as a base. The circular legend REPUBLICA DE CHILE arcs along the upper periphery, with the mint mark 'S' visible near the lower right, flanked by two small rosette stops and the date 1836 prominently placed at the base of the field.

背面描述	The reverse features a central device of a right hand emerging from a cuffed sleeve, clasping a fasces horizontally across the field, with a radiant sun rising above in the upper portion of the field, its rays extending outward to fill the upper half. Beneath the hand and fasces, an open scroll bears the inscription CONSTITUCION. The circular legend IGUALDAD ANTE LA LEI arcs along the upper periphery, with the denomination 4E and assayer initials I·J flanking the lower sides, and the fineness indicator 21 Qs flanked by rosette stops at the base.
