Popis líce	Central field occupied by a bold three-line Arabic calligraphic legend reading 'Sultan Abdulmecid Khan', rendered in a flowing Naskh style typical of Ottoman Tunisian coinage of the mid-nineteenth century. The inscription is framed by elegantly radiating foliate sprays that extend from a central floral ornament at the base, filling the lower portion of the field. No portraiture or geometric border is present; the design relies entirely on calligraphy and vegetal decoration for its composition. The overall engraving style is characteristic of Husainid-era Tunisian minting practice under Ottoman suzerainty.
