Reverse description A wedge-tailed eagle (Aquila audax) is depicted in ultra high relief at the centre of the field, soaring with wings fully outstretched and talons extended, presented in a frontal, near-symmetrical composition. Behind the eagle radiates a bold sunburst pattern of alternating long and short rays, the textured ground between the rays contrasting with the polished relief of the bird. The circumferential legend at the upper border reads '10TH ANNIVERSARY' and continues along the lower border with 'AUSTRALIAN WEDGE-TAILED EAGLE', while the right-hand field bears the date '2024', weight '1 KILO', purity '9999 GOLD', and the Perth Mint privy mark designation 'P125'. A small trademark symbol appears at lower left of the eagle's wing.
