目录
| 正面描述 | Brown on light brown underprint, with an elaborate border of arabesques and volutes enclosing the entire face. The Coat of Arms of Suriname occupies the upper centre, flanked by two indigenous figures and surmounted by a ribbon bearing the national motto in Latin: Justitia Pietas Fides; the denomination numeral 300 appears in each corner. The central text block, printed in Dutch, gives the place and date of issue, with the large-lettered value DRIE HONDERD GULDEN below the promise-to-pay clause, and two manuscript signatures — those of the Director and the Director-President — at the foot of the text. A lower vignette depicts the arrival of the first Europeans in Suriname: a shoreside reception scene with figures bearing offerings, bales of goods on the beach, and a sailing vessel anchored in the bay. |
