| Obverse description | Central brass-plated steel inner disc depicts a detailed rendering of a traditional Korean multi-tiered pavilion set upon a stone platform, surrounded by stylized foliage in the lower field. The circular legend in Korean Hangul script reads '조선민주주의인민공화국' (Democratic People's Republic of Korea) along the upper arc, with the denomination '30 WON' inscribed in Latin characters along the lower rim of the centre. The outer nickel-plated steel ring is decorated with an ornate scrolling foliate and cloud pattern in relief. |
