Ornate Art Nouveau foliate border panels flank both sides, each carrying the numeral "30" and the word "Pfennig"; a blank date line at the lower centre reads "Greiffenberg, den ___ ten 192_". The central vignette illustrates the Silesian folk legend of Rübezahl: a long-haired, bearded giant clad in rough fur tends a root-vegetable garden with a hoe at right, while a rider on horseback flees across an open landscape in the middle distance beneath a leafy tree canopy. Matching Art Nouveau foliate side panels frame the composition, and two text banners — one above and one below the vignette — carry the legend title in Gothic script. The printer's registration notice "D.R.G.M. 795679 UND D.R.P. ANGEMELDET" is printed in the lower right margin. |
