At centre, the Peinturm (torture tower) of 1336 rises above surrounding medieval buildings; the foreground shows a cobbled courtyard with a low retaining wall. The Teutonic Order shield (black cross on white) appears at lower left and the Prussian eagle coat of arms at lower right, flanking the caption panel.
