The central text block, in Hungarian, reads "Harmincz pengő krajczárra" in bold letterpress, followed by a clause stating that two notes equal one forint and are receivable at all Hungarian state treasuries. The date "Budán 1849-ki január 1-én" is printed below, with the issuing authority "Az országos honvédelmi bizottmány rendeletéből" beneath it, accompanied by a manuscript facsimile signature and a small Hungarian coat of arms vignette at lower centre. |
