目录
| 正面描述 | The obverse features a minimalist composition centred on the denomination numeral '30' in a bold serif typeface, with the legend 'EURO' immediately below it, positioned to the right of centre in the field. A flock of birds in varied flight attitudes is depicted ascending diagonally across the upper left portion of the field, growing progressively smaller and more distant toward the upper right, evoking a sense of freedom and dispersal. The issuer inscription 'SLOVENIJA' and the date '2023' are inscribed along the lower rim in an arched legend. The overall design is deliberately spare and contemplative, with the smooth proof field providing a mirror-like background that enhances the subtle relief of the bird motifs. |

Boris Pahor, the Triestine author whose literary career stretched across more than a century of life, died in May 2022 at the age of 108 — just months before Slovenia began organizing this commemorative issue. His 1967 novel Nekropola, drawing on his imprisonment in Nazi concentration camps, was rejected by Yugoslav publishers for years before gaining international recognition, eventually translated into over twenty languages.
