| Obverse description | Gold foil non-circulating note issued to commemorate the independence of Antigua & Barbuda in November 1981, with all design elements embossed in relief against a dark background. The central vignette presents a panoramic coastal landscape with layered terrain, flanked by an oval cartouche bearing the national coat of arms at left and a portrait of Queen Elizabeth II in an oval medallion at right.
