| 背面描述 | The reverse depicts a stylized composition in the traditional Northwest Coast formline art style, inspired by a hand-carved Kwakiutl wood panel. An Eagle—master of the skies—is shown in flight mid-hunt, its powerful form rendered in bold formline curves, while the dorsal fin of an Orca emerges from the waves below, signifying the predator of the seas. The entire design is engraved with a wood grain texture across the field to simulate the appearance of a carved cedar panel. The initials JH, denoting the artist, appear within the design. As on the obverse, a twisted cedar bark rope motif in yellow gold plating frames the composition along the rim, unifying the aesthetic of both faces. |
