Reverse description A bold eight-pointed Maltese cross occupies the center of the field, its characteristic forked and pointed tips rendered in the hammered style typical of 16th-century Hospitaller coinage. The cross is enclosed within an inner beaded border, with the circular Latin legend distributed around the periphery between the beaded border and the coin's edge.
