| Obverse description | The face of this State Credit Bill is dominated by a central oval vignette containing the crowned imperial double-headed eagle, flanked on either side by the denomination numeral «3» within elaborate guilloche cartouches. The heading «ГОСУДАРСТВЕННЫЙ КРЕДИТНЫЙ БИЛЕТЪ» is set in bold letterpress above a cursive text panel stating the obligation to redeem the note in silver or gold coin at the Expedition of State Papers, with manuscript signatures of the Upravlyayushchy, Direktor, and Kassir below. Corner panels carry the abbreviated denomination «ТРИ РУБ. СЕР.» and the serial number «№ 2068356» repeated twice, the whole note bordered by a fine guilloche frame with a wavy-line underprint. |
