| Obverse description | The Russian state emblem — a double-headed eagle with three crowns, an orb and sceptre, and a central shield depicting St. George slaying the dragon — occupies the central field against a mirror-polished background. The circular legend РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ (Russian Federation) arcs along the upper rim, flanked by two decorative diamond-shaped ornaments at the sides. Below the eagle, the inscription БАНК РОССИИ / 3 РУБЛЯ / 2023 г. (Bank of Russia / 3 Roubles / 2023) is arranged in three lines. The fineness mark Ag 925 appears to the lower left of the eagle, while the weight indicator 31,1 and the Saint Petersburg Mint monogram (СПМД) are positioned to the lower right. |
