| Obverse description | The obverse displays the Russian Federation State Emblem at centre — a double-headed eagle crowned with three imperial crowns, holding an orb and sceptre, with a shield depicting St. George and the Dragon on its breast. The circular legend РОССИЙСКАЯ ФЕДЕРАЦИЯ (Russian Federation) arcs along the upper rim, while БАНК РОССИИ (Bank of Russia), the denomination 3 РУБЛЯ, and the date 2019 г. are inscribed in the lower field. The fineness mark Ag 925 appears to the lower left and the weight indicator 31,1 to the lower right, flanking the Saint Petersburg Mint monogram (СПМД). Two decorative rhombus ornaments punctuate the field at either side of the eagle. |
