The largest coin, positioned at the top, bears the image of a mounted horseman with a spear; the lower-left coin depicts a bird, and the lower-right coin shows another equestrian figure. A curved Cyrillic legend reading '500-ЛЕТИЕ ЕДИНОГО РУССКОГО ГОСУДАРСТВА' (500th Anniversary of the United Russian State) arcs along the upper rim, while 'ПЕРВЫЕ ОБЩЕРУССКИЕ МОНЕТЫ' (First All-Russian Coinage) appears along the lower rim.
