备注

Belarus issued its first post-Soviet currency series in 1992 as a transitional measure — the Russian ruble was still in circulation, and these notes were introduced alongside it before the Belarusian ruble gained full exclusive legal tender status in 1993. The low denominations of the 1992 series became obsolete almost immediately as hyperinflation took hold through the mid-1990s, driving the government to issue notes in the hundreds of thousands of rubles within just a few years.

The series was printed by the Lithuanian firm Banknote Printing Company in Vilnius — a practical consequence of Belarus lacking its own security printing infrastructure at independence.
