| 正面铭文 | سلطان مصطفى بن محمد (Translation: Sultan Mustafa bin Mehmed) |
| 背面描述 | Central field bearing a multi-line Arabic legend recording the mint name and the Hijri date of issue. The inscription reads 'In Tunis' followed by the regnal year, struck in a rough, provincial hand typical of Tunisian copper coinage of this era. The flan is irregular and the striking is uneven, resulting in varying depths of relief across the field. No additional decorative motifs, borders, or symbols are present. The overall style is consistent with hammered copper issues produced at the Tunis mint during the reign of Sultan Mustafa II. |

The qafsi (from Gafsa, a mining region in central Tunisia) was a distinctly Tunisian copper denomination issued under Ottoman suzerainty. Mustafa II reigned as sultan from 1695 until his forced abdication in 1703, following a Janissary revolt that ended his rule — meaning the later dates in this coin's window fall under Ahmet III. Attribution of undated or loosely dated Tunisian coppers to specific reigns is consequently imprecise, and KM#30 straddles that transition.
