| Beschrijving voorzijde | A rampant lion passant reguardant, facing left, stands atop an ornamental pedestal with scrollwork base, rendered in high relief. The lion, which forms the arms of Reuss-Greiz, wears a small crown and displays a curling tail raised over its back. The circular legend around the upper field reads F.R.PL.G.L.M., an abbreviation for Fürstlich Reuß-Plauen-Greizer Landmünze, disposed in an arc above the central device. The field is smooth and unadorned, allowing the heraldic device to dominate the composition. |
