| Description du revers | The denomination numeral 3 appears in bold relief within a circular cartouche at the center of the field, surmounted by an ornate foliate cross issuing from a crown atop the cartouche. Elaborate acanthus and oak-leaf scrollwork branches extend symmetrically to the left and right, filling the field in a decorative Baroque manner. The date 1787 is divided by the central device, with 17 to the left and 87 to the right, placed within the scrollwork at mid-field.
