The dragon, rendered in the characteristic Xinjiang provincial style, displays prominent scales, outstretched claws, and flowing whiskers, with a flaming pearl visible at the centre of its coiled body. Stylised clouds and flame motifs surround the figure, and a beaded border encircles the entire design. The overall execution reflects the local Kashgar Mint's distinctive and somewhat archaistic engraving tradition, distinguishing it from the more refined output of eastern Chinese provincial mints. |
