| 裏面の説明 | The reverse is printed in a tricolour scheme of ochre, steel blue, and dark ink, with the denomination 'DR 3 EI MARK' rendered in large bold letterpress type on both the left and right panels against a dark decorative ground. The central vignette, again signed by König-Eschede, presents a foot-race scene in ochre tones, with a male runner breaking through a finish line flanked by a woman and child before a stylised townscape and radiating sky. Winged mythological figures occupy the upper corners, while reclining putti appear at the lower corners amid wave-like ornamental borders, and the word 'WETTLAUFEN' is inscribed prominently along the lower edge of the central panel. |
