| Descrição do anverso | Central field displays the crowned arms of the United Provinces of the Netherlands — a shield bearing a rampant lion holding a sword and a bundle of arrows — surmounted by an elaborate crowned helmet. The denomination numeral '3' appears to the left of the shield and the letter 'G' to the right. A circular Latin legend runs along the periphery, reading MO · ARG · ORD · FAED · BELG · CIV · DAVENT, identifying this as the silver coinage of the federated Belgian provinces struck for the city of Deventer. The overall design is characteristic of late 17th-century Dutch civic coinage. |
