| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central shield bearing the rampant lion of Gelderland, surmounted by an ornate royal crown with fleurs-de-lis and pearled arches. The denomination '3 GL' appears to the right of the shield within the field. A continuous Latin legend encircles the design, interrupted on either side by the crowned arms, within a beaded border. The overall style is characteristic of late Dutch provincial coinage of the late 18th century. |
