Beschrijving voorzijde Central field dominated by the crowned arms of West Friesland, depicting two rampant lions passant on a divided shield, surmounted by a decorative crown with cross finial. The date appears above the crown, flanked by the legend running along the periphery. The denomination numerals '3' and 'G' are placed to the left and right of the shield respectively, serving as flanking value indicators. The overall composition is characteristic of late 17th-century Dutch provincial coinage, with the shield occupying the majority of the flan in bold relief. The irregular planchet and somewhat uneven strike are consistent with the hammered production technique employed at the Hoorn mint.
Schrift voorzijde Latin

Beschrijving keerzijde Standing full-length figure of the Netherlands Maid (Hollandse Maagd), a personification of Dutch liberty and sovereignty, depicted facing forward in flowing robes. In her raised right hand she holds a hat of liberty atop a long pole (the vrijheidsstaf), while her left hand rests upon a shield bearing the arms of the Dutch Republic. The figure stands on a ground line within the open field of the coin, conveying allegorical strength and independence. The Latin motto legend encircles the periphery, reading HAC NITIMVR HANC TVEMVR, meaning 'On her we lean, her we defend.' The composition follows the established iconographic conventions of the Dutch Republic's provincial silver coinage of the late 17th century.
