Obverse description Imperial Russian double-headed eagle displayed with wings spread, each head facing outward and surmounted by a single crown, with a large imperial crown above uniting both heads. The eagle's breast bears an oval shield charged with the Polish White Eagle. The right talon holds a sword and the left talon holds an orb surmounted by a cross. Mint master's initials I·B· appear in the lower field beneath the eagle's tail feathers.
