| Reverse description | The entire reverse field is occupied by a four-line Latin inscription in bold Gothic-influenced letterforms, reading QVI / HABIT AT IN / COELIS IRRI / DEBIT EOS, a quotation from Psalm 2:4 affirming divine sovereignty. Below the inscription, the date is divided by a crowned royal monogram of Sigismund Augustus — the numeral 15 to the left and 65 to the right of the crowned cipher. The overall composition is unframed and fills the flan, characteristic of Polish-Lithuanian hammered troyak coinage of the 1560s. |
