Several birds in flight are rendered in minimal, abstract strokes across the smooth field, transitioning from more defined forms on the left to increasingly faint silhouettes toward the right, symbolising freedom and the far-reaching influence of Boris Pahor's literary works. The denomination '3' and the legend 'EURO' appear in bold relief to the right of centre. The issuer legend 'SLOVENIJA' and the date '2023' are inscribed along the lower arc of the brass outer ring. |

| Opis rewersu | The reverse presents typographic text drawn from Boris Pahor's short story 'Stari svetilnik' (The Old Lighthouse), rendered across the copper-nickel centre field. The letters of the text gradually fade toward the right edge of the centre, dissolving into stylised bird silhouettes in flight, a design metaphor for freedom and the worldwide dissemination of Pahor's literary legacy through numerous translations.
