| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse, designed by Canadian artist Lisa Thomson-Khan, features a vivid coloured portrait of the mountain avens (Dryas octopetala), the official floral emblem of the Northwest Territories, depicted in full bloom with characteristic white petals and golden stamens. The floral subject is set against a stylized decorative floral pattern that frames and complements the central motif. The artist's initials LT appear in the design field. The composition is executed in the reverse proof finish with selective colour application, enhancing the naturalistic rendering of the blossom. |

| Aanvullende informatie |
The mountain avens (*Dryas integrifolia*) became the official floral emblem of the Northwest Territories in 1957, chosen in part because it thrives in the subarctic tundra where little else survives — a genuinely apt symbol for a jurisdiction covering nearly 1.35 million square kilometres with a population under 50,000. This coin is part of the RCM's broader floral emblem series documenting each province and territory's designated plant.
The .9999 fine silver specification places it among the RCM's higher-purity issues, a standard the mint adopted more aggressively in collector series from the 2010s onward.
