The mint mark 戸 (Ho), indicating the Treasury Department (户曹, Hojo), appears above the square hole. Below the square hole is the series character 辰 (Chin), a cyclical heavenly stem designation identifying this emission within the Joseon casting sequence. The field is plain with a broad raised rim characteristic of cast Korean cash coinage.
