| Obverse description | Central device depicts the stylized coat of arms of Nepal Rastra Bank, featuring a central square frame enclosing a detailed rendering of Mount Everest (Sagarmatha). The coat of arms is flanked by decorative scroll-like elements and set within an ornamental surround bearing abbreviated Devanagari script syllables. The Bikram Sambat date 2076 appears in Nepali numerals at the base of the central device. The Latin legend NEPAL is inscribed within the lower portion of the central frame, while the Devanagari legend नेपाल arcs above. A border of raised beads encircles the entire design. |
