| Obverse description | Central field features a colorized depiction of the Dhug (parasol), one of the eight auspicious symbols of Buddhism, rendered in vivid orange, blue, and gold enameling. The parasol is framed within an ornate scrollwork border. The legend KINGDOM OF BHUTAN arcs along the upper rim in Latin characters, with the denomination Nu.250 displayed below the central motif. The lower rim bears an inscription in Dzongkha script, and the word DHUG appears to the left of the central device. |
