| Obverse description | Central vignette rendered in intaglio presents the Roman archaeological ruins of Tyre, with a monumental triumphal arch at centre flanked by a colonnade of standing columns to the right and the remains of arched walls to the left, set against a pink and ochre guilloche underprint.
