| Reverse description | The large numeral '250' dominates the centre of the reverse, enclosed within an elliptical decorative border design. The legend 'BANQUE DU LIBAN' arcs around the upper portion of the field, while the denomination 'LIVRES' and the year of issue in Western Arabic numerals appear in the lower field. The overall composition is formal and geometric, reflecting the bilingual character of Lebanese coinage. |

| Additional information |
Banque du Liban introduced this denomination during Lebanon's post-civil war monetary stabilization, as the country rebuilt its financial infrastructure following fifteen years of conflict that had rendered earlier coinage essentially worthless in real terms. The thicker specification distinguishes this from an earlier variant of the same type — a manufacturing adjustment made to improve durability in a currency that was, for the first time in years, expected to actually circulate.
