| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse is divided vertically into two contrasting halves by the bimetallic composition, with the stainless steel centre occupying the left portion and the bronze-toned ring forming the right. At the centre, a large crescent open to the right encloses a cluster of six six-pointed stars arranged in an arc, rendered in the silver-toned inner disc. The outer ring on the left is decorated with an intricate Islamic geometric interlace pattern, while the right half bears the commemorative dates 1981 and 2011 in Arabic numerals above the Arabic legend بنك قمور (Bank of the Comoros), marking the 30th anniversary of the institution. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse features the denomination 250 FRANCS in bold numerals and lettering at the centre of the stainless steel inner disc, which is adorned with a stylised geometric floral pattern in low relief. The inner disc is framed by an octagonal border with additional geometric ornament at its junctions, all set within the gold-toned outer ring. The legend BANQUE CENTRALE DES COMORES curves along the upper periphery of the ring in raised Latin letters, while the date 2013 appears at the base, flanked on either side by a row of six-pointed stars evenly spaced around the lower arc. |
