| Obverse description | The obverse features a central raised circular cartouche bearing the denomination '250' in Eastern Arabic numerals above the word 'فلسا' (Fils), set within an incuse field. Surrounding the cartouche, in flowing Arabic calligraphy across multiple registers, is the legend reading 'الجمهورية العراقية' (Republic of Iraq) in the upper field, flanked by the commemorative date '٧/٤/١٩٧٢' (7 April 1972), and 'اليوبيل الفضي لحزب البعث العربي الاشتراكي' (Silver Jubilee of the Arab Socialist Ba'ath Party) in the lower field. The calligraphic inscriptions fill the entire field in a bold, decorative style, with a beaded border encircling the design. |
