| Reverse description | Large, detailed portrait bust of Wenceslaus IV (Václav IV), King of Bohemia, facing three-quarters to the right, wearing an elaborate crown and rendered in a Gothic artistic style evoking medieval portraiture. To the right of the portrait, a kingfisher perches upon a knotted ribbon and rose motif — the personal emblem of the king — with the engraver's monogram JB (Jiří Bříza) visible at lower right.
