| Obverse description | Central design features the stylized logo of the Central Bank of Iraq — a square set on its corner containing a flame-like emblem at its centre, rendered in fine relief. Flanking the central device horizontally are the Eastern Arabic numerals ١٩٤٧ (1947) to the right and ٢٠١٥ (2015) to the left, recording the institution's founding year and the anniversary year. The denomination ٢٥٠ دينار (250 Dinars) appears in Arabic script immediately below the central device.
